Since 2017, Horizonscan has been a Specialist Partner for Aviva – one of the UK’s largest general insurer. We provide Business Continuity, Crisis Management and Organisational Resilience support and advice to Aviva business customers.

We work with all parts of the Aviva family, from Brokers to Underwriters and Risk Consultants. Our job is to help make Aviva customers more resilient.

Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Development and Testing

We work with Aviva customers to review their existing BCP and processes.

This includes a document review and interviews with key staff. We then test the BCP through a Crisis Simulation Exercise.

This product is right for all sizes of business and Business Continuity maturity, from those with no BCP who want to help put one together to those with an existing plan that they want testing.

Cyber incident response

Cyber Incident Response Master Class

This is a one-day interactive training event that focuses on the realities of responding to a cyber incident.

It is aimed at Business Managers not technical specialists and provides an overview of current best practice and the industry overview.

It can be delivered specifically for one customer or to a group of customers from different businesses. Class sizes can range from 15-35.


Business continuity plan

Introduction to Organisational Resilience, Business Continuity and Crisis Management

This is a one-day workshop aimed at providing an introduction to Organisational Resilience, Business Continuity and Crisis Management.

The day is designed to be bespoke with each business choosing from a list of modules that they want to follow, including: BCPs; Business Impact Analysis; Command and Control; Crisis Press and Social Media; Realities of Cyber Response; Threat Analysis; Record Keeping; Senior Commander.

Class sizes range from 6-12 and it can be delivered specifically for one customer or to a group of customers from different businesses.

Crisis readiness audit

Crisis Readiness Audit

The audit will provide a review of the current Readiness of a business to deal with a crisis event. It is based upon ISO 22316 (Organisation Resilience), ISO 22301 (Business Continuity) and BS 11200 (Crisis Management).

The audit will produce a detailed action plan for the business of where their current weaknesses are. It will also benchmark them against similar companies and other Aviva clients.
